LACRISS is a pop urban artist based in the metropolitan city of Rome.

Growing up surrounded by Rome's eternal classical heritage, their artistic breakthrough came during late-night studio sessions, watching the city's ancient stone monuments clash with the electric, artificial glow of modern metropolitan neon lights. Fascinated by this visual tension, began fusing the majestic elegance of the past with the high-voltage pulse of the future.

The Ultimate trademark of Lacriss's practice is the application of intense neon pigments, integrated with raw graffiti and explosive street art interpretations of Italian Renaissance masterpieces and iconic divas.

Every piece features a heavy, brutal stratification layer upon layer of thick paint applied with palette knives, brushstrokes, and mixed media, transforming the canvas into a heavy, three-dimensional surface you can physically feel with your hands.
